Serving In The Church
Children and Youth Programs . . .
The youth of Elim Bible Chapel are very important to us. We provide several programs for the varied age groups that are meant to encourage them along their spiritual journey with Christ. These include: The Nursery, Sunday School,
Kids Club United for grades 1-5, Youth for kids grades 6-12 and
Youth Band kids grades 7-12.
Our children's safety is also very important to us. Therefore, we have implemented a Safe Environment Program to screen all of our volunteers, leaders and Teachers to insure the safety of your children.
For more information on being involved with, or information
about our child and youth programs or our Safe Environment Policy please contact the office.
Ladies . . .
The ladies group at Elim Bible Chapel serve our congregation in love to the glory of God. We have meetings twice a year, once in the fall and then in the middle of winter. Our meetings are usually hour and a half length and are focused on planning events to encourage fellowship amongst our church family.
Our group plans: Stay for Lunches, meals for new moms, adult socials, flowers for funerals, funeral luncheons, decorating the church building, stocking the kitchen, sending birthday cards, providing baby blankets and bibles for new babies, etc.
God's word says "it is more blessed to give than receive" (Acts 20:35) and our obedience shows that we do believe God's truth.

Library . . .
Our library is an important place to get good Christian books for yourself and for your children on a variety of subjects. Our librarians work very hard to keep good literature available for all ages, from the Toddlers through to our Seniors.
Many people serve administratively by checking books in and out on Sunday mornings. If you're interested in this call the office.
If you have a request for the library please pass it along to one of our librarians
who are MaryAnn Campbell and Brianne Teetzel.
Maintenance . . .
There are many people here who help out in various ways at Elim Bible Chapel. God has provided a very nice facility and property and it is important to keep things in good repair and looking nice. This is our home as a church family, the place we worship, spend time together, and make many memories.
We usually have a group of people that volunteer on a yearly schedule to keep the lawn cut and trimmed. There are also flower gardens to be done. The deacons periodically make up a to do list that will be found on the back table or on the bulletin board that you are encouraged to check out and if you are capable and have the time your help would be much appreciated.
We have an outdoor sign that needs to be updated periodically.
Many show initiative in this area for which we are thankful, for many hands make light the work.
Music . . .
Music is a big part of Elim Bible Chapel. There are opportunities to be involved with one of the worship teams, the youth worship team or serving in the audio/visual department. Whether you consider yourself a technician or an artist we invite you to participate in this ministry.
Please contact Glen Teeple if you have questions.
